Rapé – how to do it?

Whistling, whispering right before, harmonising heart vibes with a kuripe on your chest, when chaos takes over. There are many ways to make rapé incense. And each of them is good. The time, the place, the right mixture come by themselves. Our head, however, likes familiar, proven ways that suit our esthetics. riety of rituals or even the lack of them. And you? How do you do it? – I am asking Ania Morawiec, naturopath and psychosomatic therapist today.

A petite blonde with a pointed chin sat down in front of me. She adjusted her blackrimmed glasses and sighed with a smile. There was a calmness in her, a subtle radiance that relaxed me even though I was just staring at the girl on my laptop screen, hundreds of miles away.
Sanixi, prepared on the table, waited for the right moment. After all, you can’t talk about rapé inense without sharing its magic. I waited though.
– I haven’t used medicine for four months now – Ania confessed. – I felt that this is the time when I do not have to work with anything. Rapé incense left for a moment. Previously, I used it every two days, usually after work, to cleanse myself after therapy with people, to find my transparency.
Ania is a rapé collector. She has about thirty kinds of medicine in his caskets. Her friends know about her passion and it happens that they bring her original copy from the far corners of the planet.
– I have one, unusual – Ania boasts. – She comes from India, her name’s the White Elephant. Now I know what energy emanates from the girl. Calmness and dignity of this Animal Spirit, although the Bear also accompanies her. This is her strength.

- I did my first rapé incense at a ceremony at Agata's, known for creating necklaces and bracelets made of gems with incredible power - she looks back with a smile. - It was even funny, because from time to time a specific medicine vial was chosen for us by Agata's cat. He would approach a particular bottle and nuzzle it with his nose.
The first medicine made clarity and changed the perspective of seeing. The images came. Ania saw herself as a shaman who prepares plant dust. he felt she knew it. She remembered the experience. A forgotten skill has returned.
She did not attend any course to obtain a certificate. She got acquainted with the medicine intuitively, listening to herself and the whispers of rapé.
- If medicine comes from the heart, not from mind’s expectations, then traveling with it is pleasant - she explains, however, after a while she adds. -But for me, it's not fun.
Ania uses medicine for herself, but she also uses it in her office when the patient so requests. Earlier, she also did rapé incense at group workshops, when an opportunity arose and a group of amateurs of Amazonian magic gathered in a secluded corner of the yurt or hall. After a while, however, she felt that she preferred a more intimate exchange. Preferably one on one, then there are deeper insights. She also noticed that rapé incenese ceremonies intensify at New Moon and Full Moon. There are more willing to make rapé incenese as if the planets and the moon had special gifts to offer then.
- I take care of cleanliness before serving rapé. Do I take it alone at home or give it to another person in the office. This is followed by the intention "To make it work as best as possible" - she explains. - I touch my tepi to my heart and forehead. Before giving rapé incenese to a patient, I always take it myself to connect with the spirit of the plant and cleanse myself.
There are only a few people who can give her medicine.
- It’s a matter of flow. It's important to feel that vibration with someone.
My Sanixi called. I stopped asking questions and reached for the kuripe. We both felt the blissful silence and that pleasant moment of letting go.
Ania moved away from the laptop and opened a cavernous dresser drawer. She came back with a box.
- I thought that if I have rapé incense in this room, I'll use it- she laughed. - Of course she was here.
She pulled out the vial intuitively, as always.
- I don't read information about rapé, because the right one always comes. t's a matter of trust- she admits. - I don't even look at the labels on the bottles. I only read once why you make rapé into the left side first and then to the right side. Did you know that the left symbolizes death and the right symbolizes life?
Once Ania was afraid to enter a dark forest. She was tingling, she had neurogenic body shivers. Rapé incense gave her the answer where it came from in her.
- Sometimes she took me to scary places where I had to cope, trust myself and travel - she says, pouring rapé on the palm of her hand. - I understood that there is as much shadow as light in us. If you don't pass the shadow, you can't go any further. Now I go fearlessly where it is dark.
Silence. Ania made the rapé incense and folded her hands like an Indian, closing her eyes.
- I missed this - she whispered, smiling to herself.
